The Heir of all things.

Hebrews 1:2 says of the Glorious Son of God, "Whom He (The Father) has appointed HEIR of all things."  This is in keeping with Ephesians 1:10 where we find the the Mystery of the Father's will is that "He (The Father) might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth."  The Father's will is to give His Son, by Whom He Made the worlds everything as His Inheritance.  What kind of inheritance, this old fallen world full of rebellion and its fruit?  No, of course not!  The drama of redemption that is played out from Genesis to Revelation is the "Restoration Process".  Initially, it is the calling out of the Father's Adopted Children (Eph. 1:3-6), The HEIR purchasing them and redeeming and restoring them with His Own Blood.  (Eph. 1:7 speaks loudly of the Incarnation, God made flesh and blood.)  But that is not the end of the restoration.  For Peter speaks of that glorious Hope we have in Christ Jesus, a new heavens and earth wherein Righteousness DWELLS!  ( II Peter 3:13)  This is the consummation of the Father's Will so beautifully recorded in Revelation 21 and 22. The glorious garden there portrayed is the glorious Inheritance of the Beloved Son, in Whom the Father is well pleased.  The garden of fallenness restored and made new by the Blood of the Lamb.  Behold in awe!!!
