Our Continual Feast

Except you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood you have no life in you. Our only boldness, our only right to enter into the Holy Presence of the Father, that is into Eternal Life,  is by the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is not a time of special “devotion”. This is not the path into some form of higher life, achieved by some “deeply devoted” Christians. No, this is the New and Living Way which our Lord Jesus consecrated through His Flesh. This is the way unto life for His people who still live in bodies of flesh and blood on this fallen earth.
This is the New covenant, or as Jesus said, “this is My Blood of the New Testament that is shed for many for the remission of sins” (Matt. 26:28). In this shedding of blood, in His coming to do His Father’s will, Jesus put away the old covenant that He might establish this new and Living Way.(Hebrews 10:9)  The law that could not bring about righteousness or access into the holiest because it was weak THROUGH OUR FLESH (Romans 8:3), found satisfaction in this Man’s Flesh that delighted to do His Father’s Will. (Psalm 40:7-8)
You see, our blood cannot wash away anything. It can only mark the scene of the crime.  If you have seen any forensic TV shows, it seems there's always blood or DNA or fingerprints or something left at the scene of the crime. Such as the state of our blood, it purifies nothing!   And then there is our flesh, the only thing that our dead flesh can feed is worms.
And yet, set before us are the emblems of the flesh and blood of a man, God’s Man, the Man of God's Right Hand spoken of and hinted at throughout the old covenant. This is the man that David looked for in his futility in Psalm 12:44, “there was no man that would know me”. He had no refuge echoing Job’s plea in Job 9:32-33. Throughout the Old testament there was no man to help the crippled into the Waters of salvation save the Man that was to come as Abraham’s Seed.(Galatians 3:16)
Beloved, He has come. Our continual coming to Him and believing upon Him, in His perfect Body and Blood is what is testified to in these emblems before us. We must have this cup and bread  before us that we might partake of their meaning in our hearts and souls for we are still in OUR FLESH and are extremely forgetful of the fact that ONLY HIS FLESH IS ADEQUATE FLESH. If we do not humble ourselves consistently at this table, if we do not feast at this table, or if we allow it to descend into ritual or tradition, we are exhibiting an unhealthy trust in our own frail and corrupt flesh. We do God no favors by being here.
Our God has ordained this as a feast of remembering and Thanksgiving and it is His ultimate call to worship.  Rightly understood, this is the means of His Holy Spirit to keep us in our proper place, low at his feet, rejoicing in His Presence as His adopted family, ever grateful for His sending His Beloved Son with the adoption papers and payment for our sins.
The truth of this feast declares time and again that there is no other way to come to the Father but by the death of Him Who Is the Father's Pleasure, that is His Beloved Son. If we are not continually feasting upon His Son we have no life of His Spirit within us, and we are living in our own arrogance.
This is Adams tree of Life.
This is the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.
This is Noah's ark of safety.
This is the seed of Abraham's covenant promise, the focus of his faith.
This is Isaac's sacrifice carried out to it's it's full.
This is Jacob's ladder, the house of God and the gate of heaven.
This is the blood on the doorpost of Egypt, the lamb eaten in haste, our Passover.
This is Moses rod that parted waters of Israel’s affliction, enabling them to cross to safety on dry land.
This is the Rock struck once that we may drink of the Waters of life.
This is the Embodiment of God's law broken at the foot of the mountain, now gloriously written by His Spirit on the heart of every adopted child of God.
Need I say that this is the Tabernacle of Witness for God's people in it's every detail?
And I need to emphasize, that this is the Glorious activity of our Melchizedek who not only offered the perfect sacrifice but offered Himself as that Perfect Sacrifice. This is that Melchizedek who had no beginning nor end of days, Who now reigns as our High Priest, our King of Salem, our Living Satisfactory Sacrifice before our Father. And may I conjecture that our being made kings and priests in the Kingdom of our Christ, is but our bringing a pittance of the spoils of our warfare to lay before our King Priest, our Melchizedek who is our only plea through all that He IS and does in answer to Job's lament, David's cry, Abel's blood.
This is this is the prophetess Hannah's Samuel.
You see the Holy Spirit is preaching this bloody sacrifice throughout the Old testament if we had but humble hearts, open ears and eyes to see.
This is David's King proclaimed so eloquently by the renewed Peter. This is the message of the prophets, our resurrected Jesus proclaimed to the dull of hearing disciples on the road to Emmaus.
This is the focus of the faithful of Hebrews 11, faithful saints who had a glimmer of the light that we seem to not see in the blaze of Resurrection Glory. May the Father forgive us for our blindness.
This is Paul's gospel, the Gospel of Power in Romans 1:16, so beautifully summarized in 1 Timothy 3:16, seen of angels, proclaimed unto the world, received up into heaven!!.
Feast beloved, come with humble, hungry and thirsty hearts, but don't you dare leave the meaning of these elements on the table as you leave. You must take this Body and Blood with you as your pocket promise, as your only source of a clear conscience when, in the next two seconds, when your little faith drives your flesh and it's weakness into guilt and unworthiness. Pull out your pocket promise, fasten your heart in the Blood on the doorpost, pour His Blood over all your worrisome circumstances, plead His Flesh in the midst of your fleshly lusts, weariness, and failures. Beg His indwelling Spirit to work out Galatians 2:20 in you, living this life in our flesh by the faith of the son of God who loved us and gave Himself for us.
Only on the basis of His Body and Blood can we present our bodies as living sacrifices by Union with His Body and Blood. John 6:35 says, “and Jesus said unto them I am the bread of life. He that comes to me shall never hunger and he that believeth on me shall never thirst”. And that is what Jesus meant when he said “except you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood you have no life in you for who so eats My Flesh and drinks of My Blood has Eternal Life and I will raise him up in that day for My Flesh is meat indeed and My Blood is drink indeed. Hw that eats of My Flesh and drinks of My Blood dwells in Me and I in him, and as the the Living Father has sent Me, and I Live by the Father, so he that eateth Me even he shall live by Me. This is the bread that came down from heaven, not as your father's did eat manna and our dead, but he that eateth this bread shall live forever.” (John 6:53-58)   Are you merely eating the manna. The manna is your own effort, trying to feast on your own knowledge and understanding and effort.  Fleshly manna spoils by the next day. But the Blood and Body of Jesus, our God/Man, is eternal and you must feast on him continually, moment by moment coming and believing in the face of the corruption of your own body and blood.

Satan's Hatred of Women

This is a long piece, but abortion continues to raise it's ugly head!!

Something horrendous has occurred in history. Genesis 3 records the devastation of God’s creation. That which God made beautiful, perfect, and peaceful, was devastated by a lie. What lie? Hear verse 4: "You will be like God". There is a bit more to the lie, but that says it all. The Evil One sought to inspire man to replace worship and utter dependence upon the Holy God of Heaven with a self-absorbed dependence upon himself. You see, Satan doesn’t need to get man to worship him, he only has to get man to worship his own self. And man has been doing that ever since.

But God set in motion the Divine Will to destroy that lie in verse 15. "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He will bruise your head and you shall bruise His heel." This is the Divine prophecy of the coming of God’s Seed, Jesus Christ, through the physical birth process. And in that birth would be the demise of Satan’s authority, destruction, and most importantly, the lie.

From that day, Satan has hated woman with an unholy passion. He has sought to destroy her and everything that makes her that most beautiful creation of God. He especially targets her "motherhood". History can be written as a record of Satan’s wrath against woman, from a conqueror’s rape of a nation’s women, the killing of her babies, to the atrocities of Hitler in his pursuit of a "super race". Today, his venom is seen in his glorification of abortion to the lie of "a woman’s choice". If abortion is so glorious, where is the joy, where is the warmth, where are the "oohs and ahs" of God-designed motherhood. Where is the sense of well being and purpose that is the beautiful fruit of motherhood. Why don’t we give abortion showers like we do baby showers? The lie of "choice" is only a smoke screen covering a host of real difficulties that the Evil One does not want mankind to address. Ultimately, "choice" isn’t about a woman’s good, it is about money. It is too profitable a slavery to be faced truly and honestly. We need a William Wilberforce to once again address society with loving passion, to cut through the fog of our greed and lust and come to the just conclusion that it is women that suffer, and that for the rest of their lives, by this "choice". Their bodies are the altars to man’s greed and lust!

But his hatred is seen in so many other ways. It is seen in the authoritarian husband who thinks woman exists to be "barefoot and pregnant". It is seen in world religions that subjugate women, make them second-class citizens. When woman is reduced to a "temple prostitute" or a mere object for the male to use as he sees fit, you are seeing the triumph of Satan’s hatred of woman. And such tactics are not limited to religion. Our vaunted secular society has turned the subjection of woman into a science. Our supposed sexual liberation is nothing more than the laughter of the Evil One. No longer can a beautiful woman walk down a street freely. She has become the object of lust as she is "mentally" undressed by the millions of "Playboy advocates" in her path. Woman is used to sell products countless times every day. That is prostitution. Society is not content to plaster the "F" word every where. We must add "mother" to it. Do I need to go on? No, the hatred of woman is attached to society as inseparably as breath is to life!

The Seed, God’s solution:
Remember Genesis 3:15? The woman’s Seed would bruise Satan’s head, and Satan would bruise His heel. Which is fatal? I am now battling plantar fascaitas. This is the inflammation of the tissue and ligaments of the heel. Trust me, it is very painful and annoying. But it is not fatal! But if my head is crushed, I’m dead. Do you get the point? God’s Seed is the Head Crusher. Satan wants to stop the Head Crusher from destroying him. The Bible is the history of the coming and of the victory of the Head Crusher. And of course, women play an integral part of this history. All the way through the Old Testament, the record brings the lives of women before us. Have you ever heard of Sarah, Rebekah, Rachael, Ruth, Esther, [whole books are about Ruth and Esther], Rahab, and Mary to name a few. Yes, they lived in a patriarchal society. God called Abraham out of the Ur of the Chaldees, a patriarchal land, into the promised land, but for some reason, God chose to take a long time to take the patriarchal Ur of the Chaldees out of Abraham and his descendants. But throughout, God established protections for women. "You shall not commit adultery." "You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife."(Exodus 20:14 & 17) This was for God’s glory, but also for the protection of woman. In Exodus 22:22, God commanded Israel, "You shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child." In Deuteronomy 10:18, Moses declares  that the God of Israel "executes judgement of the fatherless and the widows, and loves the stranger." In other words, Israel’s God is the Champion of the powerless, the helpless.

A common condemnation of Israel’s leaders in the prophets is "they follow after rewards (wealth) and do not judge the fatherless, neither do they plead the cause of the widow." God even established the law of the "kinsman redeemer" as a protection for the woman whose husband died, leaving her destitute. The beautiful book of Ruth is all about that protection. It is a hint of, a preface to, the ultimate "Kinsman Redeemer", the Seed of God, Jesus Christ who came to redeem all who were "widowed", isolated, separated from our Creator God by the death that came upon all human kind in the Garden. (Romans 5:12)

And that brings us to the birth of Jesus, the Seed, "the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). Matthew 1 is a rather dry patriarchal list of the genealogy of Jesus, but verse 5 is most intriguing: "Salmon begat Boaz by Rahab. Boaz begat Obed by Ruth, Obed begat Jesse (the father of David the King). The intriguing point is not just that two women enter the list, but that the two women mentioned were "strangers", that is Gentiles, non Israelites! And horror of horrors, Rahab had been a prostitute in Jericho before she was liberated prior to its destruction!

Two of the most helpless and hopeless women in ancient society were brought by God into the genealogy of the Seed that was to bring ultimate help, ultimate hope, to women throughout the earth. And then there is, "Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ" (vs16). She is the "blessed among women" according to the Angel in Luke 1:28. And I think we can say that she was the "blessed for women." For from her, by God’s Holy Spirit (vs 35), came the Head Crusher, Jesus Christ. From her came the liberator of woman. This, my friends, is the reason that Jesus had a host of women that followed Him wherever He went. This is why they were always "ministering" to Him. This is why one woman poured an expensive bottle of perfume on his feet. (John 12:3)

Never mind that the sensual commentators of our debauched age cannot conceive of such a pure sacrificial love that has no sexual lust in it. The deceived leaders of the blind all fall into the ditch of their own perverted desires. No, the ministry of these dear women, most all were former prostitutes and "bleeders" (Matthew 9:20), grew out of their recognition that this was no ordinary man. They saw no lust in His eyes. There was no hidden agenda in His concern. All they saw was "hope"--hope for the day when the Lie would be gone, and truth, beauty, value would once again rule in God’s creation.
There is an interesting prophecy in Joel 2:27. This is the prophecy of the coming of God’s Spirit at Pentecost, an event recorded in Acts 2. There is a portion that says: "Your sons and your daughters shall prophecy." "And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days." In the temple of Jesus’ day, there existed the court of the women. They were not allowed to enter into the more "holy" courts of the building. But here, God is prophesying of a time when men and women would be totally together in the worship of their God, as "one" in the ministry to their Creator. Something crucial is seen in Acts 1:12-14, after the Lord Jesus has gone up into Heaven. The disciples return to the upper room. Now observe verse 14: "Then all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus and with His brothers." This is a profound beginning to the liberation of woman from the wrath of Satan and her return to her equal status in the worship of her creator. In Galatians 3:28, the Apostle Paul, that supposed male chauvinist, declares that in the New Covenant of God, "there is neither Jew or Greek (gentile), there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus." No, not all earthly distinctions are obliterated. God’s system of order and protection remain in place. Yes, in Ephesians 5:22, wives are exhorted to "submit to your husbands, as to the Lord." But don’t ignore that this comes after all of God’s people have been exhorted to "submit to one another in the fear of God" (Vs 21). And don’t ignore the fact that husbands are called to die for their wives in verse 25! They are required to love their wives just like Christ loved His church and "gave Himself for her." You see, sacrifice and submission are to be the personality of all the people of God, whether male or female. Even "leadership" is defined by Christ as servitude and slavery (Mark 10:35-45). But before our God, because of the Seed, male and female are "one" in the temple of the Lord, the dwelling place of God in the Spirit (Ephesians 2:21-22).

And so you see, Jesus Christ holds the key to all that women want, all they really desire. Fallen humanity has distorted and redefined those wants and needs, to the degradation and servitude of woman for the prosperity and ego of the few. But Jesus Christ restores woman to the value she rightly deserves in God’s creation. He alone can assure her of the love, security each serve the other in liberty and freedom to theglory and praise of our God. security, and worth that she longs for. He alone restores all things to the design of the Creator where we each serve each other in liberty and freedom unto the Glory of our God and Creator!

God’s Purpose in the history of fallen man.

God's purpose in the history of this old fallen Earth is to restore His image in created man (Gen.1:26-27) and in so doing to magnify His Glory as the Guiding Light of all life. His Divine means to that end, is to destroy that death which has been a terrible desecration of His Will and Purpose for this Earth and everything in it.(Isa.1:26-27) From the very beginning, created man has pursued the knowledge of good and evil, to taste of Satan’s “promise”,” “you shall not die, you shall be as gods.”(Gen.3:4-5) And this “you shall be as gods became the Satanic marker in the DNA of fallen man.  Therefore the Word of the God, WHO CANNOT LIE. (Titus1:2) came to pass, the promised curse came upon all men, for “all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.”(Rom.3:23) The Image of God in which he was created,  the life breathed of God into man,(Gen1:27-28, Gen2:7) the Glory of God in all of  His creation was all but extinguished.(Rom,1:18-25) The image of God in man was well nigh replaced by man’s pursuit of his own godhood, and that through the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and the very “life” that remained was defined by, and manifested in death. The glory of man, this so called “knowledge and godhood”, became expressed as threescore years and ten!!(Psa.90:1-12) Therefore, death must be destroyed and with it, the father of death, Satan and his minions.  His absurd claim upon God’s Glorious handiwork must manifestly be destroyed before all of the principalities and powers in heavenly places, that the manifold Wisdom of God may be magnified.(Eph.3:10, a hint of God’s mysterious “tool”)
What better way than to make it plain that death has no victory, to remove the sting of it(1 Cor.15:53-57 Another hint as to God’s means), and leave its vestige to exist as merely the last gasp of the doomed foe. But it can’t be done with just any death.  It had to be in a way that made death a mysterious stepping stone into the Victory and Glory of God. It had to be a death that restored the Glorious Image of God in man,(2 Cor.4:3-6) to restore the man who was created to be the steward of God’s creation(Gen. 1:27-28; Psa.8:4-9; Eph.3:19-22; Heb.2:6-9 We are getting closer to God’s Glorious solution). It had to be through a man, a man whom death could not hold, a man whom death could not disfigure through the rot of the grave, it had to be a death that could display the futility of Satan in his supposed victory in bringing death upon man.  It had to be a death that destroyed death once for all.  It had to be a death that destroyed any remaining memory of death and hell.(1Cor.15:25-26)  It had to be a death that ushered in a wholly new creation (Col.1:12-18) that exhibits the fulness of the Glory of God, even beyond the original creation.  But where was God to find such a man??

Next: The “historical “ search.

Three Mysterious Unions

4/23/2026

se this God is Eternal and therefore, Life is eternal.  Sever this Union in any way, and you un-God God!  Sever this Union in any way, and we are without hope in the world.  Sever this    The Three Mysterious Unions, our only hope!!!

Life may be explained by three glorious, wonderful, and mysterious unions.  The first is that glorious Union of Life Himself-- Father, Son, and Spirit--One in Essence, Unique in Persons.  We have previously spoken of this Gloriously Incomprehensible Life, and will deal with each Person of the Essence shortly.  Suffice it to say that without this coequal inseparable Union, there would be no life.  Even such a thought, of course is unthinkable becau Union in any way, and we are mere elements of random chance with no purpose and no future.
The second glorious mysterious Union is that of God the Son with human flesh.  The Apostle John so wonderfully describes this in John 1:14, "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."  And again in I John 1:1, "that which was from the beginning (John 1:1) which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, Which we have looked upon, and OUR HANDS HAVE HANDLED concerning THE WORD OF LIFE."  Hebrews 2:14 "Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, HE HIMSELF likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is the devil."  Astoundingly, the Eternal Son of God became wedded to our flesh in that Perfect Body prepared for Him (Hebrews 10:5-10), bore the punishment due our sin, was crucified, buried, and risen to ascend to the Right Hand of the Father--as our Man!  He now lives in the Holy Presence as the Living Intercession for us, assuring our rightful residence in that Presence!
The third mysterious union is that of the union of the redeemed of God with the Son of God through His Incarnation as the Son of Man.  We are united inseparably with the Son of God Who is the Son of Man, that we may bask in the same Eternal Love that has been God from before the beginning!  In our Lord's High Priestly prayer in John 17:20-21, Jesus prays, "I do not pray for these alone (the Apostles) but for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father are in Me, and I in You; THAT THEY ALSO MAY BE ONE IN US:    that the world may believe that You sent Me."  Vs 23 "I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, that the world may know that You have sent Me and loved them as You have Loved Me."  Be careful!   We are not made gods as some distortionists claim!  No, we are united inseparably with the Sent One, the Son of God/Son of Man that we may behold His Glory, and bask in that Glory which is the Love that the Son had from the Father from before the beginning.  Vs 24 "Father, I desire that they whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You Loved Me before the foundation of the world."  This has been the Father's will and purpose from all eternity!  Ephesians 1:9-11  "...having made known to us the mystery of His Will, ACCORDING TO HIS GOOD PLEASURE, WHICH HE PURPOSED IN HIMSELF, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times, He might gather IN ONE all things IN CHRIST, both which are in heaven and which are on earth IN HIM (The Christ),  IN WHOM also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined ACCORDING TO THE PURPOSE OF HIM WHO WORKS ALL THINGS ACCORDING TO THE COUNSEL OF HIS OWN WILL."  Personally, I am very thankful for His Will!   Mine is fallen, dead, and would never have been a part of the "ingathering" had it not been for His Will!  "If any man be IN CHRIST, he is a new creature, old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."  II Corinthians 5:17  Simply, this mysterious union means that Father has made a way that He can Love fallen, yet redeemed creatures with exactly the same Love which He has poured out on His Son from all eternity!  Not just the same kind of love, but the Very Same Love, we being caught up in the Beloved, into the very Bosom of the Father!  And the outworking and implantation of this Union is the work of the Holy Spirit.  His first work in the repentant sinner is to “shed abroad  the Love of God in our hearts.” (Romans 5:5)  And the fruit He bears within us is Love and its many facets. (Galatians 5:22)  And that we may be assured of our place in this Love, He continually is in our hearts crying “Abba Father”.  (Romans 8:14-17) That is indeed, a glorious mystery!!!

The Tabernacle of God Is With Men

                                                          Revelation 21:3
The Tabernacle of God is with Men

Isaiah 57:15 we read, "For thus saith the High and Lofty One that INHABITETH ETERNITY, Whose Name is Holy; ‘I dwell in the High and Holy Place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.'" This verse isn't just a verse of "aspiration", to get us to work real hard to be humble and contrite.  No, no, this is a statement, a description of the atmosphere, the environment of the Holy Place where the High and Lofty One dwells.
It seems we have missed, or at least weakened our Lord's "goal" in salvation by beginning with our human perspective.  We place the emphasis on our "sin" and "getting saved".  We leave the "sinner" with his own "definition" of sin, not delving into the absolute perfection that God requires.  After that "event", raising the hand or whatever, we may or may not "try to make disciples", via some program or system.  Sin is a big deal to be sure, but it is only part of the work of our Jesus, our Melchizedek.  Sin must be understood as the destruction of relationship with the High and Lofty One Who Inhabits Eternity!!!  Only Life in His Presence is Eternal Life.  Life by any other definition is death. Restoration of that Life in His Presence is the goal of all of Scripture in its revelation of the Righteous One, the One in Whom the Father is Pleased.                          Consider our Lord's Words: "I am the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE; no man cometh to the Father but by Me."(John 14:6)  Isaiah 57:15 establishes the requirements for coming into the Almighty's Presence.  Matthew 5-7 lays out the perfect Righteousness required for that Life in His Presence, and Revelation 21:3 is the consummation of that goal in "the tabernacle, the dwelling place of God is with men." And notice that Revelation 21:4 is all about the absence of death and it's bitter fruit.
Matthew 5:1-16 is commonly called the Beatitudes.  In so doing, we tend to separate it from   it's true context within the Sermon on the Mount.  It is inseparable from the whole as it is the forward to the whole.
This sermon, Matthew 5-7, is not Mount Sinai Lite!!!  These Words are our God/Man tearing the self righteous religious scab off the Righteous Essence of His Father, revealed on that fiery Mount long ago.  He unveils the heart issues that led to the condition and judgement of Israel through the ages.  It was utter vanity to think that "all that the LORD hath spoken we will do."(Exodus 19:8)  Remember Jesus' words to John at His Baptism, "for thus it becometh us to fulfill ALL Righteousness," (Mt. 3:15)  We will soon encounter our Lord's words that He came not to destroy the Law, but to fulfill it, all of it, every jot and tittle!  Jesus is laying our Life as it must be lived before an Audience of One, before His Father in Heaven.  And only One can live that Life, the Beloved Son in Whom the Father is Pleased!!!  In Essence, this law is our Lord's Self Portrait!  This is what the fulfilled law looks like.  Here He gives His Word and then in His few short years on this fallen earth, He lived  it! Only Jesus can truly say, "Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me"

God's Glorious Hybrid

                                               God’s Glorious Hybrid

"Therefore, if any man be IN CHRIST, he is a new creature:  old things are passed                away; behold, all things are become new."  II Corinthians 5:17

This passage implies the greatest act that History and Eternity have ever known!  And I am not talking about the creation of the world and man in it.  I am talking about the creation of the Son of Man, the God/Man, Christ Jesus.  I am speaking, if I may be so bold, of the "Divine Hybrid", the grand work of the Triune God for the purpose of displaying the Glory of His Mercy and Grace and Wisdom by Christ Jesus in His church to the principalities and powers in heavenly places, world without end.!  (Ephesians 3:10;21)  I say "Hybrid" advisedly, my use of this term not implying man's method of genetic alteration, but rather God's creative "Genetic Union".  This Word being made flesh(John 1:14), as one old saint said, "was more than if a star became a clod."  For God to create this Glorious Union of the Divine Godhead and his created humanity--who can fathom it?  Who would have dreamed that the seed of woman that would crush the head of Satan and deliver God's creation from death, that seed would be the Union of the Glorious Creator with His Glorious creation in the womb of a young virgin by the Glorious "hovering" of His Eternal Spirit?(Genesis 3:15, Luke 1:38; 3:23-38)
Unlike the sterile hybrids that man gloats in and offers up to his godhood, this "Divine Hybrid" is marvelously productive--He is the firstborn among many brethren.(Romans 8:29).  And it doesn't stop there.  He is the firstborn over all creation! (Colossians 1:15)  This One Who created all things in heaven and earth, is the first of a New Creation that assures the total recreation and restoration of all things to, and beyond His original design.  His means of accomplishing this New Creation is the Spirit's birthing a people to Himself in such an inseparable union, that they become His Body!(Romans 12:1-5; I Corinthians 10:16-17, 12:12-14, 27)  And we are complete IN HIM. (Colossians 1:10)  How desperately do we need to know more of Who He Is that we may bask in the completeness that we have IN HIM.  This is the ONE Whom the Father sent.  This is the ONE that we are to BELIEVE IN!!! (John 6:29) To mistake Him as a mere man is fatal.  To misrepresent Him as a mere manifestation of God is to deny the Ultimate Miracle necessary for our salvation, our completeness without which we have no access into the Eternal Presence of the Most High God for all Etern
ity.

The Original Context of Humanity

The Original Context of Humanity

1.Genesis 1:1-31 Man created in the Image of God (Gen 1:26), yet God formed Him out of the dust of the ground, and then God breathed His very own Breath into that new form of dirt, and man became a living soul.(Gen 2:7) Unique from all the rest of creaton.
2.  (1:28) Man lived in the Blessing of God!!! (Gen 1:28)
3.  (1.31) God saw that everything He Made was very Good. Remember Jesus’ words in Matthew 19:16-17!  I believe this pleasure of God in the Goodness of His Creation is the foundation of humanities pleasure in a job well done.  It is a part of that Image in which he was created, but now soiled by pride and reputation building!!
5.  (2:1-2) God rested from His Creative Work.  He wasn’t tired, for tiredness is man’s lot from the damage done to God’s Image in him.  He was completely satisfied and delighted with His Work and “settled back” to Enjoy it.!!!  The seventh day as a day of rest is to remind man to live in the Rest and Blessing of the Creator God.  It isn’t just a day from a job we have to put up with, another bit of Image damage.
6   (Romans 1:18b-21a/Ps 19:1-6!!!)  God’s Glorious Revelation in Creation, leaving man no excuse for his willful ignorance, ingratitude, & blasphemy!
a. (18a) The Truth is there, in every human, but covered up & distorted by unrighteousness!
b.  (vs 19) That which may be known of God is manifest IN THEM, for God has shown it unto them, in His Creation.
c.  (vs20) For from the Creation of the world, the Invisible “Things” of God are clearly seen, being understood by the things what God made, even His Eternal Power and Godhead.  And guess what, man has no excuse even because in his fallenness he is too deaf and dumb and blind to see and acknowledge it!!!
d.  Notice: When they knew God, the didn’t glorify His as God.  Hence, mother nature and all the other pathetic names used not to acknowledge the Sovereign creator.  And this is a big oen: neither wre they thankful!. They became fools.

Man’s Fallen Contest
1. (Gen2:15-17, 3:1-13 And then he died.  How dead is dead?
a.  (3:8-10) Nakedness became shame in the Creator God’s Presence.
Who is this “Voice of God Walking in the garden?
b.  (3:7) Shameful nakedness requires a covering before God.  Nothing in creation is adequate.  All of our obsessions and addictions are fig leaves.  They soon turn brown and fall away.
c.  (3:4) The blame game begans!!  It’s someone elses fault, Therefore wars and rumors of wars, divorce, adultery, you name it.  Something bigger or different is better.
d.  (3) This nakedness is spiritual death, it has no covering. Leaves won’t do.
e.  God’s covering always requires the death of a body.  But animal skins eventually get fleas.  God’s Eternal covering is pure and clean and never wears out!!!
2. ;Isaiah 9:2 This is the darkness, the shadow of death that hovers continually over all mankind!!.  Romans 5:12-15, 19

Our LORD's Remembrance Meal

3/14/2026

As I was partaking of my precious Lord's Table with my brothers and sisters in fellowship, I believe it was The Spirit that brought a new thought to my puny understanding. In my usual thinking, the Blood of Christ seems to take precedence. But as I considered the Body of Christ in this Remembrance, I realized that first of all, (as in all of the Gospel writers', accounts) Paul mentions the Bread of Remembrance first, " and when he had given thanks (a crucial element), He broke it and said, " this is My Body which is broken for you, this do in Remembrance Of Me." He presented the Bread first and then in the same manner He took the cup and proclaimed, this is the New Testament in My Blood." While neither element is more important than the other, I believe there is an imbalance in the church's thinking. The Blood of Christ and His Cross is the foundation for so much thinking, and I don't mean to minimize that, for in that sacrifice, the guilt of our sin is washed away in that Glorious Liquid. But what Jesus says here first of all, is that His Body being broken is crucial to our understanding of His Purpose on this Earth.
In a very real sense, our Lord's Body was broken for us, that in It's Nourishment, each one of us might live in the hope and promise, "that in the fullness of time,  He (The Father) might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in Heaven and which are on Earth, Even IN HIM."!!!  Paul tells us in Ephesians 1:2-6 that this is the Good Pleasure of the Father's Will, and it is for the purpose of bringing Praise and Glory to His Grace wherein He has made us accepted in the Beloved. And all of this is His Glorious Means by which He is bringing us into the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself!!! (vs 5)
Paul proceeds to tell us in chapter 1: 16-23, that we are to pray that "the Father of Glory may give unto us His Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the Knowledge of Him, the eyes of our understanding being enlightened that we might know what is the Hope of His Calling, and what are the Riches of the Glory of His Inheritance in the saints and what is the exceeding Greatness of His Power to us who believe according to the working of His Mighty Power, which He Worked in Christ when He Raised Him from the dead and Set Him at His Own Right Hand far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world but that which is to come and has put all things under His Feet and gave Him to be HEAD over all things to the church which is His Body the Fullness of Him that Fills all in all."
I don't pretend to know how we can possibly be the fullness of Him that Fills all in all, but I know that anything approaching it, is by His Spirit of Glory of the Father by which He Raised Christ from the dead, and by that we are to walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:3-5) God's Holy Word says it, and I believe it. Therefore, we are not Baptists, Lutheran, Assembly of God, Catholic, or any other denomination If we believe in and depend upon only the righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ and His precious willing sacrifice in the Father's Will (Psalm 40:7-11) of His Body and Blood. We are His Body, and we have life in His Name only. Beloved, glory in this for that is His Church, His Body for which He died and was Resurrected. And never forget that He IS The Head of His Body. Never let any man approach that position or duty in your thinking or focus. By the way, the capital letters in this text are purposeful!!!  For every aspect of ur God’s Purpose and Work is uniquely His and needs to be set apart in our thinking  from our puny labors!!!

Learning the Mind of Christ.

2/4/2026

I've been longing to come up with something profound to put on this page, some unique and enlivening insight into some passage of scripture. But I have been hindered by the Lord. I have actively pursued my Lord, His way and will, since I was 19 years old. That was 60 years ago, you do the math. The last several years I felt as though I have not done enough. Looking back at 30 years distributing " Christian literature", being actively involved in a wonderful fellowship that I've always felt was an experiment in the Grace of God for at least that long, and yet I felt that I don't have much to show for it. And the Lord has boiled down my dissatisfaction to showing me that my flesh is concerned about my reputation, it's not big enough. And yet the very mind of Christ teaches us our Beloved Savior made Himself of no reputation and took upon Himself the form of a servant.(Phil.2:3-8)
And since I am such a slow learner, my God has brought forth two major events to cause me to bow before His Will. His purpose for me seems to be to quiet my heart and it's lust for activity and recognition and that purpose will be brought to pass according to His Will rather than mine.  And so His way with me at the moment seems to be through a car accident that's taken away my wheels and a physical issue(unrelated to the accident) that has restricted my overall activity. I'm being brought to abide with the words of an Old Saint that I have proclaimed many times to others, "I need to set low at His feet and watch His hand."  My Good and Gracious and Glorious Sovereign God does what He wills in the affairs of men and it's to bring forth His Glory and for our good. And so the purpose of my limitations are to dull my supposed glory that His Glorious Radiance might show forth in those wonderful small ways that magnifies His Name. And so I bow before his will and seek to humbly be still.

Our Needy Prayers

1/9/2026

Our needy prayers, our opportunity to behold the Glory of God

John records our Lord’s words in John 14:13.  "Whatever you shall ask in My Name, that will I do, that the Father may be Glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything in My Name I will do it."  In this section of John, it's as though our Jesus is drawing back the curtain a bit and allowing us to view the Glorious riches of the Eternal Relationship that is the One God in Three Persons, Father, Son, and Spirit. John 14:23 teaches us that any fellowship with this Glorious Relational God depends upon our hearing and believing the words of Christ, loving him, and keeping  His words. It is through this  faith in His Son that the Father manifests His Love toward us and establishes His Abiding Presence within us by placing Christ in our hearts through the operation of His Spirit Whom He has sent us in Jesus name. (Jn 14:23-26; Ephesians 3:24-22)
What I am saying is this, that all of our earthly need has an Eternal Trinitarian purpose.  And if we rightly understand that our new birth is the outworking of our adoption as children into the Father’s Family(Ephesians 1:3-5, 3:14-15)  we can begin to understand that our need is for the purpose of the revelation of our Father who Knows what we have need of before we ask Him(Mt. 6:8). And I think that's why the apostle Paul in Romans 8:14-28, surrounds prayer with the groaning of all creation. And this we see in Rom. 8:26-27, it is the Spirit of God Who takes the groaning of our world locked prayer, and turns it into a Glorious Testament to the Father’s Love, for He Loves us with the same Love with which He has Loved the Son for all Eternity. Turn your groaning’s over to the Spirit of God, His Groaning’s are much more effective that yours!!!
Our needs are God’s tutor to teach us the Eternally Sufficient Love of our Heavenly Father through the Mediation of His Beloved Son from His Victorious Throne of Grace where we find abundant Mercy and Grace in our time of need. And it is the prayer-perfecting Spirit, God’s Comforter of Love (John 14:25; Rom.5:5; Eph. 3:16-19), that encourages our hearts as we wait for His perfected answer to our prayers. Beloved, pray continually to see the Father Glorified in the Son in your requests.  Do not doom the answer to your prayers to just an earthly fix!  Behold the glory of God in them!!! Behold His Eternal Wisdom in His answers!!!  Consider also these verses: Matthew 6:8, 30-34, 7:7; John 15:7, 16:12-15, 23-24; Acts 17:24-25 Revelation 4:11.
