Verse 35 In keeping with the ignorant thinking of Vs 32, Paul treats another ignorant idea as to the resurrection. Is the resurrection some sort of zombie apocalypse? I can just see a millennial considering the grave and it's power over the body and not understanding the power of the Spirit of Life. The ignorance of the knowledge of God pervades this generation.
Vs 36-38 What are the implications of these verses? In reality we don't actually bury bodies but rather do we plant them? It would seem that Paul is saying these old bodies were always intended to be the seed of the new Spiritual bodies like unto Christ’s Resurrected Body. In the first man Adam, we were created in the image of God, the image of which was nearly destroyed by the fall. But in the second Man Adam, we are united inseparably to Him Who Is the Brightness of God’s Glory and Who Is the Expressed Image of God’s Person.(Hebrews 1:3) The Indwelling Spirit of God is the ever present Divine Agent of the Image of Christ in us. We are never made perfect in this life, but are.ever growing in conformity unto the Day when we shall see Him as He IS.
In John 5:28-29 Jesus speaks of Resurrection for both a good and the evil. Our text here, however is dealing with resurrection unto a new life, those who will be raised incorruptible.
Does verse 38 have anything to say about scientific experimentation and some of the perversions and anomalies will be seen today?
Vs 42-44. List the fruit/benefits of the Resurrection in these verses. Remember these are about the human body.
In verses 45-49, contrast the impact of the first Adam with that of the last Adam. Does the use of ADAM to designate both natural and spiritual bodies imply something crucial?
The implication is that of a wholly new creation of the heavens and the earth where Righteousness dwells, the world of Hebrews 2:5 in which the redeemed as New Creations in Christ will fulfill our Father’s Design in the original creation and way beyond it!!
The grand implication of this passage is that the Resurrection Body isn’t a consolation prize, but it is the Eternal Goal of our Beloved Father from all Eternity.
